Generator Rooms

Stationary diesel engines are often used in combination with generators for primary or emergency power generation. They can also be used to drive pumps and compressors in the petrochemical industry with co-generation gas turbines. This equipment is an expensive capital investment; however, there real value is in keeping the power flowing. Downtime is catastrophic as electrical power is critical to companies and small remote communities. The main fire hazards include combustible or flammable liquids and electrical cables. The fire hazards are generally centered around the fuel and lubrication systems that will leak and are located near hot surfaces such as a mufflers, exhaust, or manifolds.

Many of these operations are in remote locations where water-based systems are a challenge. Rooms used to house these high value assets are typically compact and Stat-X provides a cost-effective solution for fire suppression.

Stat-X is an environmentally friendly solution for fire protection of gas or diesel generators, machinery rooms, and other similar hazards.
